Year 6 enjoyed their two days of bikeability training delivered by Chorley School Sport Partnership instructors. They practised on the playground and then went out onto the roads around school where they put everything they had learnt into practise.
Today we had a really informative visit from Alan the paramedic, who gave us lots of insight into keeping our bodies safe and also what to do in an emergency. We had a go at making a pretend emergency call and very excitingly we had an explore of a real life ambulance!
Water Safety with Mr Lake!|
Mr Lake gave up his time this morning (Tuesday 20th) to talk about the importance of keeping safe near water. He told us lots of ways to enjoy water, whilst being safe and sensible too!
Keeping Safe Week 19th October|
What a great start to our Keeping Safe week, with a fun and informative visit from two of our local police officers. All the infant children enjoyed finding out about the police and even having a sit in the van! The siren really woke us all up. Mrs Marsden and Mrs Gow were very naughty and had to be locked up in the back of the van!
